NorForge helps technology companies transform their R&D organizations for an AI-native era. We work as embedded advisors to engineering and product leadership, bringing decades of operating experience from category-defining security and infrastructure companies to the practical work of rebuilding how teams design, build, and ship.
NorForge was founded in 2026 by a team of senior operators who built and ran an embedded technical practice inside a Silicon Valley investment firm. Working from within live portfolios, they led technical due diligence and value-creation across portfolio companies, building capability made to stand up to exit diligence. NorForge now brings that proven model, as an independent firm, to funds and leaders that don't have it captive.
The team carries more than 200 combined years of deep technical experience, with a pedigree spanning Symantec, NortonLifeLock, Blue Coat, FireEye, Websense, and SafeNet, nation-state threat research cited in the Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and Forbes, and multiple granted patents and zero-day disclosures.
NorForge is an independent, employee-owned firm. It operates internationally, with a US parent company headquartered in Palo Alto and a European operating subsidiary supporting a distributed team of engineers and advisors.
