Effective October 14, 2026. This policy explains what personal data norforge.com collects, why, and what rights you have over it.

Who we are

NorForge Inc is a corporation registered in the United States, with its principal office at 470 Ramona Street, Palo Alto, CA 94301. NorForge Norway AS is a Norwegian limited company with its registered office at Rådhusgata 6, 4306 Sandnes, Norway. Together they operate norforge.com.

For EU/EEA residents, NorForge Norway AS acts as the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For all other residents, NorForge Inc is the controller.

What we collect

We collect only the information you actively provide:

• Contact enquiries — when you submit our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message.
• Server logs — our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically records standard request data: IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamp. These logs are used for security and operational monitoring, not for tracking individuals.

We do not use tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or behavioural analytics. We do not sell or broker personal data.

How we use it

Contact enquiry data is used solely to respond to your message. We do not add you to mailing lists or share your details with third parties for marketing purposes.

Server log data is used to maintain and secure the website and to diagnose technical problems. It is not combined with contact enquiry data.

Third-party services

norforge.com relies on one external service that may process data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare — our hosting and CDN provider. Cloudflare processes request data to serve pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The site's typefaces and all other assets are served from norforge.com itself; no third party acts as an intermediary for page content.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or EEA, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@norforge.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Contact enquiry data is kept for up to two years from the date of receipt, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our practices change or when required by law. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
